- Latest technology providing maximum performance.
- Tooth design - the variable 3.5 teeth/inch pitch with a 10° rake angle offers the following advantages: - Faster and more aggressive cutting - Better heat dissipation during cutting - teeth stay sharp longer. - Deeper curving teeth allow for more efficient chip removal, preventing clogging and heat build-up. - Specially designed tooth angles are less likely to create uneven edges on thinner materials. - Side-tilted teeth to minimize binding and friction. - Requires less force - achieved through a combination of aggressive tooth placement and good chip clearance, which requires less force during drilling.
- Tooth material - the toothed part of the core drills is made of the best Matrix II type high-speed steel. Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, which allows the teeth to retain their original hardness even at high operating temperatures encountered when cutting metals. - Bi-metal design - high-speed steel teeth are laser-welded to an alloy steel body. The teeth are vacuum hardened to 65 HRC at 600°C, ensuring maximum durability and utility. Thanks to the high wear resistance of Matrix II steel, these hole saws are ideal for cutting tough and hard materials such as stainless and acid-resistant steel, as well as softer materials like wood.
- Hole saw body - The 1.27 mm thick steel hole saw body rigidly holds its shape but is also flexible. The effective cutting depth is 41 mm.
- Backplate design - The hole saw backplate is made of thick steel, ensuring that the hole size will not be larger than desired. - This backplate provides strength and rigidity to reduce vibration, with 4 guide holes for easier arbor placement. - Perfectly designed rear circular plate for good concentricity, which is particularly important for larger diameter hole saws.
- Diagonal slots for debris removal and discharge
- Applications - Good concentricity is ensured by high-quality manufacturing technologies, so these hole saws can be used with both hand-held and drill press drills (can only be mounted manually).
- This high-quality hole saw series is perfect for cutting all materials: - steel up to 1000 N/mm² hardness - stainless steel and acid-resistant steel - non-ferrous metals - cast iron - aluminum - wood - medium density
