- Latest technology providing maximum performance.
- Tooth design - the variable 3.5 teeth per inch pitch with a 10° rake angle offers the following advantages: - Faster and more aggressive cutting - Better heat dissipation during cutting - teeth stay sharper for longer. - Deeper curved teeth allow for more efficient chip removal, preventing clogging and heat buildup. - Specially designed tooth angles are less likely to create uneven edge holes on thinner materials. - Side-tilted teeth to minimize binding and friction. - Requires less force - achieved by combining aggressive tooth placement and good chip clearance, which requires less effort during drilling.
- Tooth material - the teeth of the hole saws are made of the best Matrix II high-speed steel. Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, allowing the teeth to retain their original hardness even at high operating temperatures encountered when cutting metals. - Bi-metal construction - the high-speed steel teeth are laser-welded to a core alloy steel body. The teeth are vacuum hardened to 65 HRC at 600°C, ensuring maximum durability and utility. Due to the high wear resistance of Matrix II steel, these hole saws are ideal for cutting tough and hard materials like stainless and acid-resistant steel, as well as softer materials like wood.
- Hole saw body - The 1.27 mm thick steel hole saw body rigidly maintains its shape, yet is flexible. The effective cutting depth is 41 mm.
- Backplate design - The backplate of the hole saw is made of thick steel, so the size of the holes will not be larger than desired. - This back provides strength and rigidity to reduce vibration with 4 holes for easier pilot drill placement. - Perfectly designed back disc for good centering, which is especially important for larger diameter hole saws.
- Diagonal grooves for debris removal and discharge.
- Applications - Good concentricity is ensured by high-quality manufacturing technologies, so these hole saws can be used with both hand-held and stationary drills (only for manual mounting).
- This high-quality hole saw series is perfect for cutting all materials: - steel up to 1000 N/mm² hardness - stainless steel and acid-resistant steel - non-ferrous metals - cast iron - aluminum - wood - medium density
