- Tooth material - the toothed part of the hole saws is made of the best Matrix II high-speed steel. Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, thanks to which the teeth retain their original hardness even at high operating temperatures when cutting metals. - Bi-metal construction - the high-speed steel teeth are laser-welded to the alloy steel body. The teeth are vacuum hardened to 65 HRC at 600°C, ensuring maximum durability and utility. Due to the high wear resistance of Matrix II steel, these hole saws are ideal for cutting tough and hard materials such as stainless and acid-resistant steel, as well as softer materials like wood.
- Hole saw body - The 1.27 mm thick steel hole saw body rigidly holds its shape, yet is flexible. The effective cutting depth is 41 mm.
- Backplate design - The hole saw backplate is made of thick steel, so the hole size will not exceed the desired size. - This backplate provides strength and rigidity to reduce vibration, with 4 holes for easier pilot drill placement. - Perfectly designed rear circular plate for good centering, which is especially important for larger diameter hole saws.
- Diagonal slots for debris removal and ejection.
- Applications - Good circular accuracy is ensured by high-quality manufacturing technologies, so these hole saws can be used with both hand-held and pillar drills (can only be mounted manually).
