- Latest technology providing maximum performance.
- Tooth design - the variable 3.5 teeth per inch pitch with a 10° rake angle offers the following advantages: - Faster and more aggressive cutting - Better heat dissipation during cutting - teeth stay sharp longer. - Deeper curving teeth allow for more efficient chip evacuation, preventing clogging and heat buildup. - Specially designed tooth angles are less likely to create uneven holes in thinner materials. - Laterally inclined teeth for minimal binding and friction. - Requires less force - achieved by combining aggressive tooth placement and good chip clearance, which requires less force during drilling.
- Tooth material - the toothed part of the hole saws is made of the best Matrix II type high-speed steel. Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, thanks to which the teeth retain their original hardness even at the high operating temperatures encountered when cutting metals. - Bi-metal design - high-speed steel teeth are laser-welded to the alloy steel body. The teeth are vacuum hardened to 65 HRC at 600°C, ensuring maximum durability and utility. Thanks to the high wear resistance of Matrix II steel, these hole saws are ideal for cutting tough and hard materials such as stainless and acid-resistant steel, as well as softer materials such as wood.
- Hole saw body - The 1.27 mm thick steel body of the hole saw rigidly holds its shape, yet is flexible. The effective cutting depth is 41 mm.
- Backplate design - The backplate of the hole saw is made of thick steel, so the hole size will not be larger than desired. - This backplate provides strength and rigidity to reduce vibration, with 4 guide holes for easy arbor placement. - Perfectly designed back disc for good centering, which is especially important for larger diameter hole saws.
- Diagonal slots for debris removal and discharge.
- Applications - Good concentricity is ensured by high-quality manufacturing technologies, so these hole saws can be used with both hand drills and drill presses (only hand-held installation).
- This high-quality hole saw series is perfect for cutting all materials: - steel with a hardness of max. 1000 N/mm² - stainless steel and acid-resistant steel - non-ferrous metals - cast iron - aluminum - wood - medium density
