WÜRTH 089061
Oil absorbent granulate, Road 10kg
Non-slip granulate for absorbing oily and watery substances on solid and road surfaces
Highly absorbent, fast-acting
-
Less material needs to be used, which reduces waste disposal costs
-
1 kg of oil-absorbing granulate absorbs approx. 1.01 liters of oil (Westinghouse)
-
The fine capillary structure of the granulate traps the absorbed material and does not release it
Universal use
-
Suitable for all liquids, including acid, alkali, AdBlue and water leaks
-
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
Extremely easy handling
-
The granulate remains dry even after absorbing the liquid
-
It is slightly dusty, does not turn to sludge and is easy to sweep up
-
Optimal loose bulk density, the granules remain in place of application
Non-slip
-
No risk of slipping when stepped or driven on
-
The 0% result of the German road slipperiness test (SRT) is crucial considering the not to be underestimated danger caused by slipping in a workshop or on road surfaces, where dripping oil can create a dangerously smooth surface.
German road slipperiness test (SRT)
The Material Testing Office of North Rhine-Westphalia accepts the granulate according to its own testing system for SRT values below 20%.
Oil absorbent type III/R
Oil absorbent for special requirements on solid and road surfaces; also suitable for commercial and industrial use. This type must not be waterproof and must not float.
Note:
The method of waste disposal must comply with the regulations for the specific liquid, whether it is sent to a landfill or an incinerator. Not suitable for hydrofluoric acid!
