Chrome-vanadium steel (socket inserts, extensions and ratchets)

The usual high torque required to tighten/loosen large diameter bolts and nuts requires very resistant steel. Chromium-vanadium alloy (a mixture of two or more metals) increases resistance to rust and provides additional strength and hardness for high-stress operations.

Clearly visible markings (on the socket inserts)

Allows for quick identification to easily select the right socket insert – a great advantage when working under a car in low light conditions, for example.

Ball lock groove (socket inserts)

The socket inserts in the set are equipped with a ball lock groove. It allows for secure and stable attachment of the sockets to the square drive of the ratchet, preventing them from being ejected.

Secure grip (socket inserts)

The knurling around the cup of the socket inserts, combined with the matte textured chrome finish, provides an exceptionally good grip, even with greasy or wet hands.

Precision design (socket inserts)

The low clearance height of the socket drive allows for quick maneuverability and a good grip to apply torque to the flat sides of fasteners, rather than their corners. It also supports the rotation of worn, rounded-corner screws and reduces slipping on frozen fasteners.

2K handle (ratchet)

2K is short for "2-component". It is made from a blend of a rigid and resistant plastic (PP, i.e. polypropylene) and a non-slip, soft material, TPR (thermoplastic rubber). It provides a cushioned and good-grip handle, guaranteeing comfort during extended use, even with greasy hands.

Rear quick release button (ratchet)

Located on the head of the tool, it helps users work with fasteners even in the tightest spaces (e.g., in the wheel hub of a car when working on brakes), as only 5 degrees of rotation are needed to advance on the fastener, whether tightening or loosening.
