Field of application

The P100 4” threading machine is an ideal choice for threading galvanized and carbon steel pipes, especially for tasks requiring a large number of threads and large diameters.

Use and operation

The P100 threading machine is suitable for threading all standard inch-sized pipes from ½” up to 4” diameter.
The integrated oil pump directly oils the threading heads, ensuring a long life for the dies and accurate, clean threads.

Working is significantly facilitated by the large, integrated roller pipe cutter and the pipe deburring unit, which enable complete pipe preparation on a single machine.

Starting, stopping, and controlling the direction of rotation are done with push-buttons located on the side of the machine.
The two-speed drive can be adjusted with a selector lever:

• Normal speed (24 rpm): for ½” – 2” pipe sizes
• Reduced speed (8 rpm): for 2½” - 4” pipe sizes

Threading heads and dies

The machine has two automatic threading heads:

• for ½” – 2” size range
• for 2½” – 4” size range

The smaller threading head comes with two sets of dies:

• ½” – ¾”
• 1” – 2”

The automatic threading heads automatically disengage when the set thread length is reached, thereby increasing accuracy and work safety.

Safety information

• Before operating the machine, always check for the presence of an adequate amount of threading oil or emulsion.
  Operation of the machine without at least 1.5 liters of oil is prohibited.
• For pipe diameters exceeding 2”, the machine can only be used at reduced speed (8 rpm).
• When machining longer pipes, the use of a pipe stand is mandatory.
  The rolling height of the pipe stand must be adjusted to the center height of the threading machine's spindle.
  Without proper support, the pipe cannot be securely fixed, which can lead to damage to the threading head or dies.
