Area of application

The P50B 2” pipe threading machine is an ideal choice for threading galvanized and carbon steel pipes, especially for jobs where a large quantity and large diameter of threads are required.

• Installation of main water lines
• Main fire water lines
• Installation of sprinkler systems

Use and operation

The P50B threading machine is suitable for threading all standard inch-sized pipes from ½” to 2” in diameter.
The integrated oil pump directly oils the threading dies, ensuring a long lifespan for the dies and precise, clean threads.

Work is significantly facilitated by the large, integrated roller pipe cutter and the pipe deburring unit, which allow for complete pipe preparation on a single machine.

The machine is started and stopped using push buttons located on the side of the machine.

Threading dies and cutters

The machine has one automatic threading head, to which two sets of dies are attached:

• ½” – ¾”
• 1” – 2”

The automatic threading head automatically releases when the set thread length is reached, thereby increasing accuracy and work safety.

Safety information

• Before operating the machine, always check for a sufficient amount of threading oil or emulsion.
  Operation of the machine without a minimum of 1.5 liters of oil is prohibited.
• When machining longer pipes, the use of a pipe stand is mandatory.
  The rolling pipe height of the pipe stand must be adjusted to the center height of the threading machine's spindle.
  Without proper support, the pipe cannot be securely fastened, which can lead to damage to the threading head or the dies.
