- Latest technology providing maximum performance.
- Tooth design - the variable 3.5 teeth/inch pitch with a 10° rake angle offers the following advantages: - Faster and more aggressive cutting - Better heat dissipation during cutting - teeth stay sharp longer. - Deeper curved teeth allow for more efficient chip evacuation, preventing clogging and heat buildup. - Specially designed tooth angles are less likely to create uneven holes in thinner materials. - Side-leaning teeth to minimize binding and friction. - Requires less force - achieved by combining aggressive tooth placement and good chip removal, which requires less force during drilling.
- Tooth material - the toothed part of the core drills is made of the best Matrix II type high-speed steel. Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, thanks to which the teeth maintain their original hardness even at high operating temperatures encountered when cutting metals. - Bi-metal construction - high-speed steel teeth are laser-welded to the core alloy steel body. The teeth are vacuum hardened to 65 HRC at 600°C, ensuring maximum durability and utility. Due to the high wear resistance of Matrix II steel, these hole saws are ideal for cutting tough and hard materials such as stainless and acid-resistant steel, as well as softer materials like wood.
- Hole saw body - The 1.27 mm thick steel hole saw body rigidly maintains its shape but is also flexible. The effective cutting depth is 41 mm.
- Back plate design - The back plate of the hole saw is made of thick steel, so the size of the holes will not exceed the desired size. - This back provides strength and rigidity to reduce vibration, and guiding with 4 holes allows for easier placement of the arbor. - Perfectly designed rear circular plate for good centering, which is especially important for larger diameter hole saws.
- Diagonal slots for debris removal and discharge.
- Applications - Good concentricity is ensured by high-quality manufacturing technologies, so these hole saws can be used with both hand-held and stationary drills (can only be mounted manually).
- This high-quality hole saw series is perfect for cutting all materials: - steel up to max. 1000 N/mm² hardness - stainless steel and acid-resistant steel - non-ferrous metals - cast iron - aluminum - wood - medium density
