When sealing, e.g., oil pans and gearboxes, it is crucial that no sealant enters the interior. Therefore, we recommend applying the sealant to the surface to be joined. Assemble the two parts, then gently press them together by hand and slide them slightly against each other. Then separate the parts again and remove any sealant that has entered inside. Reassemble the parts within a maximum of 5 minutes and fasten them tightly. Before commissioning, observe the curing time (depending on the sealant thickness).
